VERIZON TEAMS UP WITH TERRENCE J AND WALE FOR THE ULTIMATE FREE MUSIC EXPERIENCE IN LOS ANGELES

On June 27, Verizon completed another leg of it’s Now Playing Tour, a mini-music festival, at Verizon Wireless Store- Inglewood in Los Angeles hosted by Terrence J. Guests were invited to enjoy a free concert by Wale and DeJ Loaf for an unforgettable music moment, all to create excitement for the upcoming ESSENCE Music Festival, a Verizon partner.

On-site activations had something for everyone, including video and photo booths, product demo stations, celebrity meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, device giveaways and a chance to win tickets to the ESSENCE Music Festival.  Los Angeles was The Now Playing Tour’s final stop before the ESSENCE Festival.

Concert-goers were also encouraged to take action against domestic violence by donating old phones and accessories on-site to HopeLine® from Verizon.  HopeLine is a program that supports domestic violence organizations across the country and has set a goal to reach 1 million phone donations by the end of the year.
